Gear Up for the Future with Nov/Dec Crash Course for Primary Students

Crash Course In Singapore

When we first started Miracle Learning Centre back in 2008, it was with a simple belief:

Every child can succeed when learning is made clear and engaging. As parents ourselves, we understood the anxieties families face before major exams. Over the years, that belief has grown into a team of dedicated tutors who know the MOE syllabus deeply and have walked the journey with thousands of students.

Now, as 2025 comes to a close, we are once again preparing for one of the most important phases of your child’s education:

The headstart into Primary 5 and 6.

These years are crucial, especially for children heading towards PSLE. That is why we have created our holiday crash courses in November and December. These compact, structured programmes can aid your child begin 2026 with nothing but total confidence in the subjects and the exams that follow.

The Significance Of Studying During The Holidays

We know how quickly the long school break disappears. Some families travel, some focus on rest, but many parents share the same worry: “Will my child lose momentum before the new year starts?”

That is where a holiday crash course makes sense. Instead of drifting through November and December, your child spends four mornings revising core topics, trying out exam-style questions, and learning practical techniques. Classes are small, lessons are intensive, and because we include lunch, parents do not need to worry about logistics.

Most importantly, these sessions are not “extra tuition”. They are focused headstart programmes, designed to make the MOE curriculum easier to manage once school begins.

What Our Crash Courses Include

We offer four holiday courses this year, each crafted for students moving into Primary 5 or Primary 6 in 2026.

Primary 6 Maths (PSLE in 2026) – 24 to 27 November

Timing: 10am – 2pm

Topics covered:

  • Challenging problem sums
  • Composite figures
  • Identical proportion
  • Number patterns and tricks
  • Percentage 1 and 2

As you can see, our maths crash course focuses on non-routine questions where students often lose marks in the PSLE. We give them structured methods to handle these confidently.

Primary 6 Science (PSLE in 2026) – 1 to 4 December

Timings: 10am – 2pm

Topics covered:

  • Adaptation – survival in habitats
  • Energy – forms and conversions
  • Forces – push, pull, motion
  • Reproduction in plants and animals
  • Effects of heat
  • Life cycles of plants and animals
  • PSLE open-ended question (OEQ) answering techniques
  • Hands-on experiments

Now, our science tuition course combines theory with experiments. We spend time on open-ended questions, teaching students how to write answers the way examiners expect. Notes and worksheets are provided for revision at home.

Primary 5 Maths (2026 syllabus) – 1 to 4 December

Timings: 10am – 2pm

Topics covered:

  • Challenging problem sums
  • Excess and shortage
  • Identical proportion
  • Identical start and end
  • Identical total
  • Interactive math tricks
  • Model drawing
  • Number patterns
  • Ratio

This crash course in mathematics prepares students for the jump from Primary 4 to Primary 5. By mastering ratio, model drawing and problem-solving, they start 2026 on firmer ground.

Primary 5 Science (2026 syllabus) – 24 to 27 November

Timings: 10am – 2pm

Topics covered:

  • Circulatory system
  • Electricity
  • Respiratory system
  • Water and changes of state
  • Cycles in water
  • Diversity – grouping of organisms
  • Light – reflection and refraction
  • Heat – transfer and effects
  • PSLE open-ended question (OEQ) answering techniques
  • Practical experiments

Now, this crash course reinforces core systems while introducing upper primary content. Like the P6 programme, it balances content with exam practice and experiments.

How Our Teachers Approach These Courses

Holiday tuition classes only work if the teacher knows how to make complex topics simple. Our tutors have years of classroom experience and know where students usually struggle.

For example:

  • In a maths crash course, the difference is not just showing a method but training students to apply it under exam conditions.
  • In a science crash course, it is not just about recalling facts but learning how to structure OEQ answers clearly.
  • For both, teachers step in as exam coaches, correcting mistakes on the spot and modelling how examiners think.

This is why parents who choose Miracle often say that their child leaves our holiday courses not just revising, but learning how to answer smartly.

How We’re Adding Value Over The Years

From speaking with families year after year, three points keep coming up:

  • Structure in the holidays: Four days of focused lessons prevent long breaks from turning into lost time.
  • Purposeful learning: Every topic is chosen because it plays a major role in the MOE syllabus and in the PSLE.
  • Value for time and cost: At $550 for 16 hours including meals, the courses offer both convenience and quality compared to spreading lessons across months.

Parents often tell us the biggest change they see is confidence. Children who once hesitated with problem sums or OEQs begin to approach them with a clear plan.

From Our Family To Yours

When we founded Miracle Learning Centre in 2008, our vision was not just about tuition. It was about creating a place where parents could trust that their children were guided with care and expertise. Sixteen years on, that vision has not changed.

We believe that with the right guidance, every child can shine. These holiday courses for primary students are one way we help students enter the new year not anxious, but prepared.

So, make this holiday count. Join Miracle Learning Centre’s Nov/Dec 2025 crash courses and set your child on the right track for 2026.
